Doug Rippingale is a full-time, year 'round BC hunting and fishing guide- and that's a distinct advantage for you, the sport fishing angler! Being on the water or in the bush is a way of life for Doug, and pursuing wily Chinook salmon (King salmon), Coho salmon (Silver salmon) and the mighty Tyee salmon is what he does best. A testament to this is that many of Doug's fishing charter clients have fished with him for over 10 years and the majority of his clients return season after season.

Doug has a keen passion and natural instinct for the outdoors and has over 20 years experience as a professional sport fishing guide on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Doug's favorite places to fish are Campbell River, the Salmon Capital of the World and an internationally known fishing trip destination on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia; and the Nootka Sound area on the West coast of Vancouver Island, a magnificent wilderness sport fishing ground that is gaining popularity for both salmon and halibut fishing (along with Lingcod, Red Snapper and other bottom fishing).
