DESCRIPTION: This amazing tour of some of Yosemite's most spectacular unseen sites includes an unforgettable trek through the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River along the Tuolume River past an awe inspiring string of waterfalls including the Waterwheel Falls, the Le Conte Falls, the California Falls, the White Cascade Falls, and the Tuolumne Falls. Plus, enjoy secluded swims in high mountain lakes such as McGee Lake, the Poly Dome Lakes, Tenaya Lake, and Harden Lake. See the Yosemite that most never do!
August 2: Arrival day. Meet at the Hodgedon Meadows campsites by 6PM. Dinner and
orientation following everyone's arrival.
August 3: Day 1. Backpacking. Enter White Wolf Trailhead and hike down to the Tuolumne River to our first Backcounty campsite in Pate Valley.
August 4: Day 2. Backpacking. Continue hiking along the Tuolumne River in the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne to the top of the Waterwheel Falls where our second backcountry campsite lies.
August 5: Day 3. Backpacking. Continue hiking along the Tuolumne River in the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne past the Le Conte Falls, the California Falls, the White Cascade Falls, and the Tuolumne Falls to our third backcountry campsite near the Poly Dome Lakes.
August 6: Day 4. Final day. Hike out near the Tenaya Lake and by mid afternoon.

This mostly high altitude trip traverses the spectacular Grand Canyon of the
Tuolumne River and the breathtaking Ten Lakes Basin. It’s a difficult trek in and out of this deep river canyon past five gorgeous waterfalls, along intimidating granite cliffs and peaks and lakes aplenty. If you enjoy solitude, summer wildflowers, crashing cascades and numerous swimming holes then this trip is for you!
