Trip Description

Vogelsang means “birdsong,” a gentle name for an imposing peak that is among Yosemite’s tallest and most beautiful mountains. Our journey to its summit will take us through the gurgling brooks, stone spires, and wildflowers of this subalpine paradise and into Yosemite’s stark alpine country, a land of granite, lakes, snow, and expansive views. This is a classic mountain backpacking trip through incomparable country.
